THE BUTCHER’S DAUGHTER (New York, NY)
As a human race, it is becoming more and more obvious that our diet – and the way we eat – is changing: Meat is moving off center-stage and the spotlight is turning to fresh fruits and vegetables.
At The Butcher’s Daughter, we treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: We chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into heathy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.
The Butcher’s Daughter serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch in a 35-seat light-filled space. During the warmer months, our sidewalk terrace expands with an additional 30 seats outside. We take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian and non-dairy. Most of our menu items are vegan and gluten-free, and we can always prepare substitutions for most dietary restrictions.

LAUGHING SEED (Ashvile, NC)
The Laughing Seed invites you to experience our new summer menu. We are excited about several new raw entrees that are light and flavorful – perfect for the warmer months. We continue to broaden our culinary scope to include even more of our favorite flavors from around the world and to utilize the seasonal organic products coming to us from various regional growers, including our very own Laughing Seed Farm. We are pleased to feature other fantastic local products as well, such as Three Graces Cheeses, Annie’s Natural and City Bakery Breads, Lusty Monk mustard, Buchi Kombucha, and Green Man Ales to name a few. Plus we’re now baking our burger buns, focacccia, pita and specialty breads in house!

We operate out of Blue Ridge Food Ventures kitchen in Candler, NC, and use ONLY 100% Organic GMO-free beans to make our tempeh.
